SELECTION CRITERIA

Players are manually selected by the Manager, Junior Competition after the entry deadline.  Selection will be based on the most recent version of the USTA National Combined Standings list published at the entry deadline.

HOST HOTELS
We appreciate you supporting the hotels who are giving us a great rate for our tournaments! You will fly into Will Rogers World Airport (OKC)

PRACTICE COURTS
If you want to reserve a practice court for Wednesday, please call the pro shop at 405-348-3120 to reserve a court.  The courts are $12/hour.  You may also stop by the pro shop anytime 10 am or later to collect your player gift and give us your tournament registration information. ECC will be open at 7am for players to warm up Thursday-Sunday at no charge.  If you require additional practice courts throughout the tournament, you can use Sequoyah Middle School or Cheyenne Middle School. 

RACQUET STRINGING
Racquet stringing will be available at the main site - Edmond Center Court. Cost of labor if you provide your string is $20. Otherwise string prices depend on string type used.

SPORTSMANSHIP
SUPERSPORT INITIATIVE
Get ready for the relaunch of the SuperSport campaign, which kicked off in 2024 in partnership with USTA Missouri Valley and the Match Tennis App. This initiative encourages sportsmanship in tennis tournaments and strives to create a positive experience for all participants, no matter their age or skill level. The player with the most nominations from January 1 to December 31, 2026 will win a trip for two to the 2027 US Open. For more details, click here.

The USTA Suspension Point System and Point Penalty System have been updated to expand when suspension points and/or Code Violations can be assessed to a player for unsportsmanlike conduct. The change states that a player can be assessed suspension points and/or Code Violations when they, the player, or anyone associated with the player engages in unsportsmanlike conduct. These changes apply to USTA Regulation IV and Table 17; Friend at Court 2022: pages 103 - 117.
